Genesis 1 is the first finished SacraScenes collection. The chapter is divided at natural shifts in the creation narrative, not at an arbitrary word count. Each scene has an indexable editorial page with original context, plus a direct link into the immersive reader where the Story retelling sits beside a clearly labelled public-domain Scripture source and a scene-specific visual.
Genesis opens before there is a landscape, a horizon or even the first contrast between day and night. The scene is deliberately quiet: the earth is described as unformed and empty, darkness lies over the deep, and the Spirit of God is present over the waters.

SacraScenes publishes a collection only when its scene sequence, retellings, source labels, generated images and navigation can be reviewed together. Genesis 1 is live because all eight launch scenes are complete. The remaining books in the Catholic canon are listed as scope on the Books page, but they do not lead to empty reading pages.
