The project is structured from the start for all 73 books, including Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1–2 Maccabees and the Catholic portions of Esther and Daniel.
The Story panel is original editorial writing. It compresses a natural section of the biblical narrative into a short passage so a reader can grasp one movement at a time without pretending that the retelling is a Bible translation.
The Scripture panel is kept separate and names its source. That distinction matters: SacraScenes does not blur source text, commentary and generated imagery into one voice.
Each launch scene has a purpose-built 3:4 visual. Images are artistic interpretations generated for the project, not photographs, archaeological evidence or claims about exactly how a biblical event looked.
Progress is saved only in browser localStorage. There is no required account, streak mechanic or feed. The design is intentionally quiet so the text and scene remain the focus.
Genesis 1–10 are complete as visual scene collections. Pick a chapter for its scene overview, or use the reader’s chapter switcher to jump without stepping through every earlier scene. The full 73-book Catholic canon remains readable in English chapter by chapter; visual collections are published only after their scene boundaries, source handling, images and navigation are complete.
SacraScenes combines a manually structured scene sequence, original retellings, explicit public-domain source labels, project-specific visual direction and a reader that remembers the exact scene locally. Source text is included for comparison, while the editorial layer and visual layer are clearly identified as SacraScenes material.
